In our planned site visit to the informal settlements on the outskirts of Tirana, we anticipate a journey into the heart of resilient communities facing unique urban challenges. These settlements, often characterized by makeshift housing and limited access to basic services, offer a compelling glimpse into the dynamics of informal urbanization.
Our visit aims to provide an understanding of the living conditions, community dynamics, and economic activities within these settlements.
We will explore the impact of any ongoing development initiatives and assess the need for sustainable urban interventions.
Our goal is to gain valuable insights that can inform future efforts aimed at improving the living conditions and well-being of the residents while respecting their dignity and unique identities.
